We have so many challenges like the pandemic, political instability, drought, corruption, the list is endless. We are therefore all traumatised in some way. Your advice is very apt, reaching out to someone, anyone and especially the professionals that can make a real difference, is the way to healing an growing stronger.

It is my life experience that qualified or professional help through a church or institution, – if it can be afforded, – is of great value to be able to continue one’s life journey and purpose. Sometimes we need a bit of solid biblical or ethical teaching, sometimes counseling or therapy, at other times a mentor or a life coach (preferably of the same sex). There are methods and techniques to deal with pain and scars. It boils down to continuing through life on crutches, with baggage, – or a purposed walk with confidence again. Yes, Christian values had been proven to give a more solid grounding when helping people up.

This is So true…loss have different shape and forms…and Cilla has helped me cope with so many of just that. Loss of a ‘mother figure’, divorce, moving house…all in a matter of 4 months…and to be able to stand up today and face the world…is all thanks to Our God and Cilla! Her ability to hear God’s voice and to use her knowledge and talents to help people like me…is just amazing! Thank you my dear…you have truely become a friend for life!!!
